Rheba at Galatoire’s!
We’re not sure how this happened, but my wonderful mother-in-law was featured in a story about the soul of New Orleans – here she is at Galatoire’s with ‘her’ waiter Richard and her friend Charlotte Mathes.

Legal (and delicious) Crack.
I’ve been drinking obscene quantities of this stuff lately. Delicious – and a methamphetamine-like buzz to boot. A 64oz. jug of heaven will cost you, though – $8.79 at my neighborhood Canseco’s. Fast Food: Ads vs. Reality
Each item was purchased, taken home, and photographed immediately. Nothing was tampered with, run over by a car, or anything of the sort. It is an accurate representation in every case. Shiny, neon-orange, liquefied pump-cheese, and all. See the photos here, courtesy of the West Virginia Surf Report.

Goodbye, Kozmo…

Goodbye, Kozmo…
I found this while I was transferring files to a new laptop the other day. When Sue and I lived in San Francisco, we practically lived on Kozmo.com’s movies and ice cream. We were blown away when they went under – April 16, 2001 – this was their “goodbye” screen. Around the same time, my [...]
